Smelted Quartz Point 1s - polished clear mini-tower sculpture

This pretty point is made of Smelted Quartz, so it is very clear! This item is made by melting quartz in the presence of another compound (called a flux) which lowers the melting temperature. Quartz is in such abundance in China and labor is so cheap that they can afford to melt down the crystal, remove all the impurities and add color as they see fit. These items are beautiful and unique, but do not have the properties of natural quartz. They are more like Glass which has energy like everything else in the Universe. Glass brings together the traditional four elements; through fire and air the silica earth element is made molten and transformed into a liquid to then return to its earth state as a solid when cool.

This point is approximately 2.87" tall and weighs 64 grams.
